Pick & Pan is built to know as little about you as possible. We do not ask for your name, email or location. The app generates a random identifier on your device to manage your subscription and fair-use limits.
When you use snap-to-identify, your photo is sent securely to our recipe service, analysed to identify the plant, and immediately discarded. Photos are never stored, never used for training, and never shared.
Your plant list, recipe box and job ticks are stored on your device. Recipe requests (your ingredient text and settings) are processed by our service and by Anthropic's Claude API to generate the recipe, and are not used to build a profile of you.
Payments are handled entirely by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active; RevenueCat receives your random identifier and purchase status, nothing more. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
